It’s official. Paint Party Studios has gone online working out of my home studio. We’ll be posting instructional art videos and blog tutorials as well as offering kits and supplies to create your own art at home. Sometimes life gives us lemons, but we’re making creative lemonade here at Paint Party Studios. Change doesn’t always come easy so please be patient as this summer is a time of planting seeds of new growth for the studio. Opening in 2008, Paint Party Studios turns 12 this year, so in a way it’s only natural as we hit the start of adolescence there will be big changes ahead.

Even before Covid19 forced us to revise our business plan, there was a growing shift in the art studio industry towards more mixed media and thinking outside the normal paint and sip. Attending industry conferences for the last couple of years, we came home with so many ideas that we just haven’t had time to implement at the studio. Well here we are now, with this huge disruption that reads like a sign we were supposed to stop and take stock and find a way to start implementing all the new and creative new ideas we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

So stay tuned and see what a wild, creative adventure it will be.

And in the meantime, we’ll be calling on some of our independent art studio friends around the country who are shipping their own creative kits to help add to our offerings while we shift to our new format.

The hardest part of this is not seeing our wonderful customers every week in the studio, but when social distancing guidelines allow, we’ll be back in schools, churches and business teambuilding and Christmas parties. In the meantime watch for online lessons and Zoom art parties.
